Mildew in a Commercial Building

SERVPRO of Columbus, GA was requested to come out to a commercial property and inspect the ceiling around an A/C register vent that appeared to have mildew forming.

After completing the inspection it appeared that the mildew was from condensation build up around the register vent. 

SERVPRO treated the areas using the following method:

• Technician was in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Wiped down the ceiling and register vent
• Use of SERVPROxide
• Then informed the staff to change out the air filter
